Share the Wealth: Write Fresh

Comfort words. They’re the mac and cheese of the literary world. As writers, we all have ’em and we’re not shy about using them.

Until we realize we’ve used the same word twice in one sentence.

That’s why I wanted to share these great tools that I found over on GalleyCat. Check it out, it’s a Phrase Frequency Counter and Word Frequency Counter that will count the number of times you use a given a phrase or word in your writing…just paste in some of your work. (Or, for even more fun, paste in someone else’s work!)
