I love the feeling of a new year, a clean slate. So many possibilities await us, and it feels like anything is possible. Usually I like to create about ten goals for the new year to ensure that I continue growing and moving forward, but for the first time in my 31 years, I finally feel content with where I am and happy with what I’ve achieved. So this year, I only have one resolution:
Enjoy it.
What’s your New Year’s resolution?

I love the new year, too: it shimmers with possibilities!
Congrats to you and your vow to enjoy. That is wonderful.
Yay 2012!
Great resolution. Something we should all consider for ourselves 🙂
Happy New Year!
Great resolution, Erika. 🙂 I’m sure you will. I hope you had a wonderful New Years.
That is a great resolution, Erika. For me, my new year resolution is to finish projects I have started and abandoned for some reason or another. One being to work on my novel and quit starting new ideas for stories all the time. As I go through my abandoned projects I will bury what can’t be saved and give life to those with promise.
Happy New Year!
That’s a wonderful resolution, April. Sometimes it’s important to know when to bury something that can’t be saved and focus your energy on other projects. I had to lay my first (unpublished) novel to rest after 3+ years of work and revisions. It was a heartbreaking decision but ultimately it gave me the time to work on Empty Arms 🙂
So many goals, but my biggest one is to get my freelance business off the ground so I can quit one of my jobs.
LOVE that goal, Brianna. Best of luck with it!!
Work harder write more…Happy New Year to you all!
