Look up

Yesterday my cousin did something he doesn’t normally do: he took the bus. And as he rode through the streets of San Francisco he played Angry Birds on his iPhone. Then he got a text message from his dad. It read, look up. He did, only to find his dad standing a few feet away.

Look up. Such simple advice, but so wise too. Many of us go through each day wrapped up in our own little worlds, distracted by text messages, phone calls and video games, oblivious to everything around us. My cousin almost missed his father. What are you missing?
