What an honor…dream chaser, Ashley Prince, nominated Beyond the Gray for The Versatile Blogger Award! Ashley and I got to know each other when we both won The Write It Sideways Blogging Contest and ever since, I’ve been a big fan of her blog, Byron’s Curse. So thank you, Ashley, for recognizing Beyond the Gray with this nomination!
There are four simple rules for The Versatile Blogger Award:
1. Post a link to the person who gave you the award.
2. Tell your readers seven random things about yourself.
3. Award 15 newly discovered blogs.
4. Send them a note letting them know you nominated them.
So, here are 7 random things about me:
1. I met my husband, Dave, on a train in New York City when I was twenty years old; we got engaged six months later.
2. The craziest thing I’ve ever done is jump out of an airplane…three times.
3. I have mild claustrophobia.
4. The weirdest thing I’ve ever eaten is a grub (aboriginal Australians consider grubs to be a delicacy) (they taste like scrambled eggs).
5. I backpacked through Europe one summer during college.
6. I slept with my security blanket, Blobbley, until I was 28.
7. Thunderstorms frighten me.

Brianna,
I’d all but lost hope the day I met him on the train. It proved to me that you never know what life has in store for you just around the next corner 😉

How do we vote for you?
To my knowledge, there isn’t a voting process. It’s a viral notoriety award. But thank you for wanting to vote for me 🙂
