In Erika's Dreams

I don’t know what the weather is like where you are, but it’s a rainy, gray Sunday here – a perfect day for working on your dreams. I’m spending my day editing my manuscript. Is anybody else out there working on their dreams?

It’s snowy and grey today….the perfect day to stay inside. I’ve pulled out a few books on different aspects of the writing process, browsed and then chose one to start reading, “Make a Scene” by Jordan Rosenfeld.

Spent most of the day driving…but had a lot of time to think about all that is going on right now and how that fits into my plans. A lot of quiet time…about 6 hours worth. Fortunately, it wasn’t raining.

When I got back to Princeton it was unbelievable how many large trees were down and how many were crashed into houses! It really looked like a tornado had touched down.

Happy yhat I missed the storm, but a rainy day does bring with it some serenity…a little free space in your mind to think about your dreams.
