I’m excited to announce that Writer’s Digest Books is going to be publishing Author in Progress: A No-Holds-Barred Guide to What It Really Takes to Get Published (Hint: It’s Less about Adverbs Than You Think), an anthology that will guide writers through the process of creating a novel — from idea development through “The End” (and beyond). Due out in November 2016, Author in Progress will feature essays from me and all of my fellow Writer Unboxed contributors. (My essay will tackle how to set realistic goals – an appropriate topic considering I tend to dream several sizes too big.)
